Suurpea’s first holiday

“IVANOVA NIGHT” THAT TOOK PLACE ON 26.06.2010 WAS THE FIRST HOLIDAY FOR SUURPEA’S RESIDENTS.

We did not hold any events until 2010. Same year is when Õie Kivi was chosen as the patriarch of Suurpea, she suggested organizing “Ivanova Night” together, holiday for residents and dear guests of Suurpea.

We started organization right away. With the help of Lena Klimenko, I got to know that there is a wonderful holiday’s host – Igor Ermakov. I remember everything, as if it was yesterday, I called Igor for the first time, and he said: “Everyone’s having Ivanova’s night on the 23rd, and you have your own, special Suurpea’s night on the 26th.” We laughed together on that statement!

Back then i used to practice in the gym, that’s where I got to know from my coach that she is engaged in the ensemble called “Terek”. So I invited them (Terek) to our holiday. And our talented girls and boys made a very interesting performance based on Alexander Rybak song.

Surpea’s gymnast made her performance. We played, sang, danced, I cannot even explain in one word how much fun we all had! There were a lot of people.
